Charlotte B. Royeen, OTR/L, FAOTA, FASAHP, FNAP, PhD, is the Dean of the College of Health Sciences, Rush University in Chicago, Illinois, USA. She received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Washington University School of Medicine and her Doctor of Philosophy from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Dr. Royeen has received many honors and awards recognizing her for her work in the field of occupational therapy, including the Eleanor Clarke Slagle Lectureship Award – the highest scholarly award bestowed by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Most recently, she was named the A. Watson Armour III and Sarah Armour Presidential Professor at Rush University. This honor recognizes special excellence as an academic leader in the biomedical sciences. Dr. Royeen has published more than 40 books and book chapters and 75 journal articles, and she brings a wealth of leadership experience to the college and to the entire Rush University community.
